Community Dinner
The Community Dinner Ministry is an outreach activity of Penney that has been providing nutritious meals for all people in the community since December 1996. No fee is charged, but a donation is accepted from those who wish to give. The dinners are held on the fourth Saturday of every month, from September to April. The Community Dinner ministry affords Penney the opportunity to make good use of the kitchen and our large fellowship hall, Perkins Hall, and provides those who volunteer in preparing, serving, and cleaning up after the dinner a wonderful time of fellowship. For more information on this ministry, please contact the church office. Penney is located at 35 Grove Street in Augusta and the meals are served from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
