Pastor Rick is a graduate of Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. In 29 years of ministry, Rick has served two United Methodist churches and an Evangelical Free church. He answered the call to be the pastor here at Penney in 2005.
Rick and his wife Connie have been married for 32 years and have two grown children. Their daughter Tara, after getting her Masters of Science from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, works in Pearl River, NY. for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. Their son Brandon, a graduate of Houghton College, is a Wild Animal Keeper at the Bronx Zoo in New York City.
Connie works as Circulation Manager for Giftbeat, a gift industry trade journal. Connie likes perennial gardening, feeding the birds, home decorating and sewing. Rick works on the cars, does carpentry, plumbing and electrical around their home in Sidney ME. They also spend time boating, hiking and working out at the gym.
