Our Faith
God is our Creator and all-powerful Father, who through His never-ending love and caring, sustains us and empowers us with the goodness and hope of everlasting life.
Jesus Christ, God’s Son, our Lord and Savior, came to earth as the Good Shepherd to fulfill God’s promise as the Messiah. Because of His wondrous love, Christ allowed Himself to be crucified and rose again to forgive our sins. We receive God’s gift of salvation through faith based on that act of love.
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity who resides within us as the life of God in the soul of individuals. It guides us in our thoughts and actions, and enables, convicts and converts.
We are God’s children created in His image, yet born with a sinful nature, offered forgiveness through His grace to become messengers of the Gospel.
The church is the Body of Christ, a home of grace and new life, spirit-touched and spirit-empowered, renewing our minds and filling our souls.
We are clergy and congregation working together as a Priesthood of Believers empowered by God as an extension of His hands and feet. We are involved in the ministry of caring, loving, sharing, understanding, serving, confronting, comforting, teaching, reconciling, selfless giving, praying and witnessing.
The Bible is the inspired word of God, the only authority for faith and practice.
