Letter from GSLC Director
I am very excited to be writing my first newsletter to all the families at Good Shepherd Learning Center. I have actually worked my first full week, spending time in classrooms, learning the office routine, and meeting with parents at their request. There will be an upcoming parent meeting to address any questions or concerns you may have. Coordinating schedules will be a bit of a challenge but knowing the importance of parent involvement we will make this a priority. In the meantime, please feel free to stop in the office any time.
Susan will be leaving Good Shepherd in a couple of weeks. She has been training me in the office as well as helping the new Assistant Teacher, Christina in the Preschool Room. She has been very supportive in helping me move into this new role.
I will also be teaching the Pre-K class in the fall. This is very exciting for me, knowing I will still be able to use my teaching experience to help prepare the children for Kindergarten.
